Valkyrie by Eddy Barrows

Yet another commission that I got « second hand ». It was for sale for a long time on ebay and then popped on C-Link where I got it for a steal (as compared with Eddy’s rates and the initial asking price).

As often, his commission work is top notch. She looks perfectly badass here and ready for battle.

The tonal work on her skin, shadow in the snow and the grey sky is truly beautiful. I also love how he drew the snow on the trees. This is winter Asguard.

She looks probably a bit younger than what we are used to in the books but she remains super sexy. Her face is fantastic here. The pose is really 90s Image comics but it makes sense here considering the angle of the ground.
