Groo The Barbarian

Admittedly I've never sketched Groo The Barbarian prior to this commission, but hey, commissions are commissions right? On Canson 9 x 12", the concept was a photorealistic Groo and his trusty pet near a stream, the former staring at a reflection...which is his actual cartoon self. This was also a cool opportunity to create an inks-only piece that incorporates negative space and elements of cross hatching. Thankfully this experiment was successful and I feel more confident to proceed with my next inks-only project.
