DescriptionRobot Carnival is an animated anthology film from Japan released in an English version by Streamline Pictures, Carl Macek, and Jerry Beck Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo was the writer/storyboard artist/director of the opening and closing sequences. The "Starlight Angel" segment was written and directed by Hiroyuki Kitazume who also designed the characters. Two teenage girls visit an amusement park together. One suffers heartbreak and runs off to a magical night time flight. I bought this cel from Carl Macek at a convention. I passed on the expensive set up with a background of flying robots, stars, and a dark sky.Social/Sharing |

I should watch that again. I thnk it's up on Amazon or Netflix.
