Description

Web of Spider-Man #65 is one of my favorite all-time issues of Web.

I bought my first interior from Alex Saviuk himself at the 2011 Supercon in Miami. Then a short while later, I acquired the cover. Over the years, I have been able to pick up a bunch more. Still missing seven of them, so if anyone owns any of them, I am a VERY interested buyer.

In this two-page sequence, MJ is babysitting Normie while Harry & Liz prepare to go out on the town. Normie starts crawling away, and MJ follows him through a curtain into a hidden area that contains the Green Goblin costume and a bunch of pumpkin bombs (Normie happily holds one up and says “nbbl gibirish,” which is clearly babyspeak for "Where does he get those wonderful toys?").

MJ is dismayed, because she thought Harry had destroyed all his Goblin paraphernalia, She wonders if Liz knows, and knows she must tell Peter.

A great little interlude in an otherwise action-packed story, and I just think MJ looks beautiful in this 2-page sequence.

Beautiful artwork on the two pages. It's for sure a shocker for MJ to find those Gobby Goodies ha ha.

Nice 2 page sequence and I know that Alex had been taking his JRSR Spidey lessons with that MJ in panel 4 - bee-yoo-tifu! It reminds he really did have some great MJ images throughout his run. Another great get, Paul - congrats!
