Fantastic commission. JPL hits another home run! He captured both the imagery and atmosphere of the movie so well.

THanks he really does go all out on his commissions. THat said you have 2 of my favorite commissions he had done. One of the few pieces I regret letting go and would buy back is that Dragon lady piece but I know it is in a good home.

Did you catch the mimic of a close up eye in the bottom right from the siren?

It was in the pencils where I noticed it. Very nice work.

This commission is simply extraordinary. I have one piece by John Paul Leon. Looking at this beauty, I think it is time for me to get another one. Congratulations on this wonderful piece!

He is a stellar draftsman, and he designs the hell out of every piece. His commisions just get better and better. If you check out his social media feed you can see his more recent pieces. They are great. That Constantine piece you have is nice.

This is so good! One of my favorite movies of all time, and JPL completely nailed it. I keep telling myself in need to get a commission from him and have no idea why I haven't done so yet. Can't beat this though!

Startlingly great! I could look at this for hours, and be more entertained than I was when I saw the sequel!

It is hard to believe that he is gone, and these commissions just kept getting better and better. I don't know how he did it. I miss talking to him, always insiteful and and inspiration. What i loved was seeing all the info in the drawing and just bam! black ink covers it up! What a master of editing.

Fabulous commission!! Congrats!!
One of his best ever imo. He was as big a fan of the movie as I am and it shows in the finish. Very lucky to see this in person every day.

Thanks. IMO it's one of JP's best and that is a High bar. He was always an inspiration and so gald to finally get this commission from him. That said it does make me weap, he was so good and left way too soon. I miss talking art and techniques with him.

He was a master of composition, imo this is one of his best commissions ever. He just kept getting better and better. It was such a loss.

Thank you. JP really out himself on this one. Did you see the eye design he put into the light from the spinner?
