To me, Sayger can be hit or miss, but sometimes the hits can be BIG hits - like here! Sexy looking Huntress. Like the pose and the choice to make it more of a profile shot. Very nice, indeed. Congrats!

Agreed, any artist will have some inspired works that far outshine their others. This of course is somewhat subjective based upon one's individual taste. That being said I fully agree that this piece stands out and was definitely a moment of inspiration. I also love the profile pose, the position of the crossbow and as alwaysSturats use of light and dark. Thank you for your comment!

Glad that you like it.. I just posted his Captain America piece. Wait until you see his color scheme. Take a look and see what you think. I also reached out to Zakuro Aoyama and look forward to speaking with him. Thank you for the information on how to get in touch!

This actually used to be mine. I originally commissioned Stuart and suggested the general pose etc. He did indeed do a great job on this. It was just a 'victim' of needing to thin out the collection a bit and two other Sayger pieces I own were a bit more nostalgic for me. Great pick up. It was also published in one of his sketchbooks, but I forget which one.

Thanks for the back story. I think its just a great piece. I love his work. I also understand that every once in a while one needs to thin out the collection. I am glad you decided to part with this one!
