The epic Judge Dredd story ‘The Day The Law Died’ fell foul of IPC Fleetway’s own internal censorship. This half page and the previous page features the hapless Judge Slocum pickled in a jar of vinegar.

This was pencilled by Brett Ewins (and inked by Brendan McCarthy).

The writer is ‘John Howard’, better known as John Wagner.

So this piece is a curious mixture of original art and stat, seemingly to accommodate last-minute changes.

Definitely NOT for sale.

Very nice! Always good to see these curios pop up. It does make you wonder what it hidden underneath though!
