Description

A special Sunday published as part of Nancy's 65th Anniversary celebration that ran in the strip at that time. Given the strip's history, I think they were aiming to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the strip being named 'Nancy' (1938 - 1998), but then changed to celebrating her introduction five years earlier. Note the changes from the original to the published work ("Sixty Years of" to "History of"). They also correct the time since Fritzi was created, from 76 to 77 years.

Also of note how they dance around the fact that Fritzi was created by Larry Whittington and not Ernie. But Larry *is* mentioned, in a book behind Ernie alongside Harry Houdini. So, at least it's *less* deceptive than Ernie was during his lifetime, where he would straight-up lie and claim he created her.
