"Battle of the River Plate"

original full color cover painting by Joseph DeVito, created for the novel by Dudley Pope, an entertaining story of naval warfare during WW2 that was published by Avon Books in 1990. Colorful and dynamic, this is an impressively realistic work in Oil on illustration board, the image is 25" x 16" on board 30" x 20" and signed by the artist bottom right.
