Beppo by Chris Schweizer

I continue to ask Chris Schweizer to draw supporting characters from the Legion of Super-Heroes as rewards for supporting his Patreon. This time I asked Chris to draw Beppo the Super-Monkey! Beppo is a Kryptonian monkey who somehow stowed away in baby Kal-El's rocket, and he escaped out the back of the rocket before the Kents discovered him. Yeah, I know. Anyway, Beppo soon gained superpowers under Earth's yellow sun, and when a young Kal-El encountered him again, Beppo was a little prankster who Kal-El had to trick into flying off of Earth. But later, Beppo returned and became an ally to Superman and joined the Legion of Super-Pets! I like how Chris draws Beppo flying here, with his body not straight like a human's might be, but with his arms and legs down as if he is still prepared to use them to help his movement. And of course the watercolor is always nice-looking. As usual, big thanks to Chris!
