Sorry, what was the question? I was looking at the circle. Apologies for the bad joke. I love Finlays work.

I think the circle makes a bold and searing statement about the ultimate unknowability of the universe and the tragedy of our inability to connect, but then I could be drinking

Which came first? The sex or the circle? Now thats a difficult question, especially if you have been drinking. Or is it that you start life after people had sex to have you? You then circle around having sex before finally you are unable to have sex because your life has ended but other people still are so the circle of life starts for new people. Wow, deep discussion. Lol

The circle represents the notions of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement and God. Sex is just nasty. If I remember correctly.

Great piece - I was the under-bidder, glad it went to a good home!

Who cares what it means. Its astrology after all. If you're honest you bought it for the same reason we all love it. Its got a beautiful starry-lit finley femme in it! And why not! Such charm, such devastating beauty and moon lit romance. Who could ask for anything more?
