Description

I learned to read by repeatedly asking my mother to read Superboy No. 89 to me. I eventually knew it by heart -- that's reading, isn't it? And yes, this was in 1961 (when I was 5 or 6 years old), not at some more recent date.

Wow! This page has been on CAF since 2006 and I am the first to comment on it? How crazy is that? Anyway, it is an incredibly fun page from a great and IMHO under appreciated artist. Further more it is an outstanding example of everything that was fun with DC and particularly the Superman family of comics in the early 60's. I never get tired of them. It is a wonderful treasure.
