DescriptionFor one Charleston Chew wrapper and a check for 50 cents, fanboys could receive a copy of Marvel Collector's Edition, a flipbook featuring Wolverine on one cover, and Spider-Man on the other. On the Wolverine side, you can find an 8-page story entitled, "Gimme a Break," that pits Wolverine and Jubilee against the Danger Room's "Maximum Threat Program." With art by Sam Kieth during his prime period on Marvel Comics Presents, this page contains a variety of Sam's motifs: Wolverine in bondage, surreal sentient beings, vice grips, cybernetic skin, Archie-style expressionism, off-kilter paneling, and organic lettering. Oh man now I have "Stay in the light" by Honeymoon Suite stuck in my head. Give it a listen and if you can figure out why.

I remember this comic , Sam's art freaked me out LOL! Love it now, and having a Wolverine by Keith is A+!

When I first saw Keith's work I couldn't decide if I was repulused or attracted, but I knew I was fascinated. The more I looked, the more I liked it. Great page, great write up.
