Description

In comic book art, we are surrounded by tall figures standing in strong courageous poses. The figure in this watercolour stood out to me because she is refreshingly vulnerable. I love how the fingers, eyes and body language are used to show how uncomfortably exposed she is towards something out of the scene.
It is refreshingly open.
Featured on the the front of "Don't Ask - Art of Sweeney Boo.", this watercolour and ink drawing was purchased from a seller in Italy in July 2020.
