Ah early Avengers Perez. Love it when he came on and really love it from issues 150 thru 201! Nice page!

What makes this page even more special is the Esposito inks. Colletta had inked George on the three issues prior, and he left a lot of detail lacking. George's pencils truly require a detailed inker, and he finally received that first opportunity with this issue. This page is even better in that it is a recap page from Avengers 141 when the Squadron Supreme matched the Avengers hero to hero (villain more like it, but the Squadron Supreme were heroes on Counter Earth). Great page, and I apologize that it took me so long to make a comment.

Thanks for this comment, especially regarding the Esposito inks. There was a certain uneveness to very early Perez, and I think this explains a lot of it. This version of the Squadron was always my favorite since it took the JLA parody to the nth degree.
