The First Blondie Sunday Page with Dagwood January 29, 1933

In the early 1930s, Blondie had two boyfriends, Dagwood, who appeared in the daily strips, and the ever-popular Hi Ho, who was in the Sunday pages. As the date for Blondie's wedding approached (February 17, 1933), it became necessary to introduce Dagwood into the Sunday pages as well. This is the first of those pages, where Dagwood introduces Blondie to his extended family. This page came out towards the end of Dagwood's Hunger Strike, but the actual hunger strike continuity only ran in the dailies.
