DescriptionPosting two fun (and very different) Spidey splashes tonight.Here we see the 1st appearance of a brand new Spidey suit/costume!! The Spider Armor MK III, also known as the Anti-Sinister Six Armor, is a suit created by Peter Parker with Horizon Labs resources as a last resort against the Sinister Six if the situation was dire enough. The sophisticated suit of armor includes weapons, gadgets and features geared to counter the powers and abilities of each of the Sinister Six's members. Hey, it only took Spidey 50+ years to think of it against Sinister Six. Gonna have to go and read this issue tonight.

What?! Is this the first time in superhero history that a costume was created specifically to defend and counter a specific group of villains' powers? That's nutty! I like the clean lines used to make the suit look sleek.

Oh, love this, Paul! Ends of the Earth was a GREAT storyline and of course a precursor to Superior Spidey. A big reason I loved the arc was Caselli's work - so great throughout, particularly in the action sequences featuring this new armor! And this moment of the reveal is also where he asserts a leadership role in the Avengers. Big congrats, man - I know Caselli doesn't sell his work so pickings are slim! Not surprised, though, that YOU were able to nab one ;)
