I've been wanting a page from Batman The Cult for years now. I'm a huge fan of Bernie and I always loved this miniseries by Starlin and Wrightson. I needed a page that featured Batman. Well, I got a page that features Deacon Blackfire, Batman and Robin as well as the cavernous sewer system in which most of the story takes place.

If there's any one page that summarizes a large chunk of the entire story, this is it. The top several panels provide insight into the twisted mindset and motivation of Deacon Blackfire and the bottom panel shows the confused and battle-worn dynamic duo as they traverse unfamiliar territory into the sewers where Deacon Blackfire and the cult rule Gotham's underground.

Love that bottom panel! The last panel reminds me of the cover to the TPB as well as the promotional poster for the series.
