Really nicely done commission by both. I love that pose, too, and the inking done to accentuate the heat vision is so cool.

Frenz made good money in the 80s and 90s providing both Marvel and DC solid, no gimmicks, dynamic comic book art. He wasn't trying for awards, critical praise, or a long term legacy. He provided art that did the most important thing : it made sales. Frenz drew a great Superman and a great Thor. This commission is just one example of the many, many action art pieces by the under rated Ron Frenz.....
