Description

Never thought I would own original artwork by the legendary Gil Kane, one of the more important artists in Spider-Man's history, as well as inks by Tom Palmer. Let alone, a piece from his last Spider-Man titled book: Spider-Man #63 (October 1995). One month later, Gil did a Scarlet Spider comic & afterwards some pin-ups, but that was unfortunately it.

Page 14 is a half-splash with Scarlet Spider swinging through New York City, carrying Seward Trainer in a pose that reminds me of "Amazing Fantasy 15".

Other highlights are Kane's typical horizontal lay-out and panel breakthrough, as well as that sexy Mary Jane sequence - wondering where Peter is.

Thanks so much, Peter! That makes me appreciate your comment all the more! Absolutely love this page and the fact that I get to own/curate something of this magnitude. Just thinking about having a Kane published Spidey page in my collection still makes me swoon.
