DescriptionBack in early 2017, I bought this piece of DC Licensing art with pencils by Admira Wijaya & inks by Brett Breeding. I still don't know where it was published - maybe a box of cereals, some toothpaste, but I just like the Batman image here. Size is 11x17.Social/Sharing |

I won a few Breeding pieces similar to this and discovered they are original inks over blue line printed pencil scans. Breeding's inks were worth the purchase price, but it would have been nice to know that the pencils were printed... I don't know if that is the case with this one.

Ha, didn't know that! Thanks for letting me know! Luckily, I didn't pay too much for the piece, but I did believe both were done on the page. I'll check for some leftover pencils, but it's probably bluelines, as well then.
Did you find out what they were used for, by any chance?

One of mine was (and is still being used) as box art for toys and other weird stuff (calendars, coffee mug boxes, etc). It was the second one that I won I was able to see the printed blue-line (dot-matrix printer spots). That made me go back and look at the first.
Breeding's inking is incredible.

Awesome, thanks! I'll look some more into that direction, too! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
