Description

Batman (Vol 3) #45 Cover Original Art (DC,June 2018). Batman is large and brooding in only the way that the Dark Knight can as he growls "Booster Gold Must Die!" on this exceptional cover for "The Gift, Part 1". This is a standout example of Tony S. Daniel's Batman, one of my personal favorite modern age artists. I bought this directly from Tony, and it is one of my favorites by him, both with the intensity of the image as well as the extreme attention to detail throughout the image. It is also unique in the sense that he rarely does a super close up view like this for Batman. Created in ink over graphite on standard DC Comics Bristol board, with an image size of 11" X 17". Signed in the lower right corner by Tony.

Yeah, no kidding. This is the only close-up shot of Batman on a Daniel cover I've ever seen. A really nice change of pace and some lovely line work going on here.
