LL COOL J. ORIGINAL ART FROM PAGE 72, VOLUME 3 OF THE HIP HOP FAMILY TREE

Pencil, ink, and marker on stiff paper (17 by 11 inches), signed "Ed Piskor 2020" at bottom.

Here is Ed Piskor on this piece:

"I think this may be the only page from HHFT that Fantagraphics Publisher Gary Groth commented on as I delivered the art for print. He was aghast at young LL COOL J�s boxing stance and bad contrapposto (both arm and leg from the same side of the body are forward at the same time). I wanted him to look young, twerpy, and inexperienced here, though."
