Description

Mau Heymans is one of the most productive present day Dutch Disney artists. He started his career in 1987 at Oberon, at the time the publisher of the Dutch Disney productions. Mau is on his best in short, humorous stories with Donald Duck or Uncle Scrooge. His specific artwork on the Ducks, with long necks and beaks, as well as the many background jokes, enlarges the comical effect of his pages. He has illustrated stories by other Duck scenarists, such as Frank Jonker, Evert Geradts or Jan Kruse, but he has also written many stories himself, together with Kirsten de Graaf.
