Description

Check out this very nice 1986 DC Heroes Against Hunger page which was penciled by the great Keith Giffen, and inked by Joe Staton. This page features Batman, Superman, and Lex Luther! This was one of the first books I picked up at a local pharmacy. The topic really left its impression on me.

The Heroes Against Hunger story was plotted by Jim Starlin with a plot assist from Bernie Wrightson. There were 100 contributors to the project.

Giffen, during this phase, was not the easiest artist to ink, but Joe him up quite nicely. Also, just saying, this is a pretty cool book to have a page from.

I prefer Giffen's earlier style from his Legion days, but this is a very compelling page
