DescriptionFrom Wieringo’s last FF issue. After all four have their powers scattered to the winds around NYC, they have to chase down the unfortunate recipients of those powers(a flaming horse, an invisible stripper, a guy stretching to catch his bus)... and because of Reed’s machinations, Ben is last. Trying to take both his and Ben’s powers so that Ben can be back in his human form, Ben explains that Reed’s genius couldn’t operate in the Thing’s body, and that the world needs him to do good.Emotional page between two friends trying to do right by each other, and one of the core FF dynamics- Reed’s responsibility for what happened to the FF and all the ways he tries to make it right, and Ben’s willingness to sacrifice again and again for what’s right. I forgot all about this exchange between Reed and Ben, but to this day, I still remember Johnny's "Belay that epithet!" with the flaming horse. Congrats on a page from the final Waid/Ringo FF issue!
