Description
As I've said before, I never found out about this hobby of ours until my late teen years. By then, I didn't even know this series existed but I've always had a soft spot for En Sabah Nur aka Apocalypse!

I was used to many a story featuring the Children of the Atom facing Magneto here, a batch of Sentinels there and sometimes Mister Sinister on occasion. But Apocalypse always had a look that stayed with me since I first saw him via the 90s animated series. Plus, that voice...a booming vocal signature both menacing as well as ancient!

Amongst my comic shop browsing I finally pondered whether or not an origin story was ever told of "The First One" and there it was.

Though only four issues long, I was grateful such a series was even made. I swear, the 90s are sometimes an unappreciated age of comics that yielded odd costumes but memorable stories!

Shout out to Jordan Joanou for this sale! Thank you my friend!
