Description
"The March to War"

Not much of a story here.

Bishop was a character I never knew about until the Days of Future Past episodes of X-Men, The Animated Series. I figured him another villain out to defeat the X-Men as he was dropping them with a rifle set to stun...which I never appreciated until well into high school.

However...I didn't discover this was a limited series until just a few years ago. But what a title and insanely appropriate for one of the biggest badasses of mutantkind. The second I did, I knew I wanted a cover from the run. Luckily, this one popped up on romitaman.com and for a great price.

Big thanks to Mike Burkey for his perpetual patience and awesomeness in helping me bring this piece home!

"For the future!"

Jeanty is great with faces and likenesses.  No idea if he modelled these after anyone, but each one of them has an individual spark among this oncharging army of heroes!

Talk about nostalgia -- seemingly straight from the animated series, that era of costumes and all!
