Jetsons #12 cover recreation by Julian Jordan

      I find myself strongly drawn back to my childhood by seeing old familiar characters. This sketch recreates the cover of The Jetsons #12 published by Gold Key in 1963: George, his wife Jane, daughter Judy, and his boy Elroy with Astro in trail. Julian Jordan is a Spanish cartoonist creating work for foreign markets. I discovered his work on eBay auctions put on by his brother cartoonist Mickey Jordan. Initially, I was drawn to his Kim Possible artwork, but he does great work on Warner Bros. and Hanna Barbera characters as well. Julian is putting on his own auctions from Spain under the forgacomicart seller name. My first purchase was a single lot of eight pieces. International shipping is very slow during the pandemic, but the package made it from Spain to California in three weeks. For my second purchase of one dozen Manna Barbera pieces, Julian tried another shipping method and the package left Spain on Friday and arrived in California on Wednesday. This piece is a ten drawing purchase and arrived in less than a week.
