1954 WOODY WOODPECKER WALTER LANTZ NEW FUNNIES #207 ORIGINAL COVER ART RARE DELL COMICS GA CVR

Very rare Original Cover Art for Walter Lantz New Funnies #207, published in May 1954. It features a classic large image of Woody Woodpecker front and center, with justified concern that his balloons are going to get popped by slingshot! The image of Woody from the top of his hair to his toes measures almost 11" tall! The piece is on large bristol board measuring approximately 15 1/2" by 19". There is some scattered staining in the border margins, but the actual image area displays beautifully, and matted and framed would look outstanding. It is very rare to find one of these Golden Age Dell covers that still exists, let alone an example as nice as this one!
