Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott with Stan Lee.
"...this sequence, in which The Torch flicks his thumb on like a pocket lighter is thematically significant. It's the only time any of the story's four heroes uses super powers, and it's a joke. Lee and Kirby have crafted their tale so carefully that personalities, not powers, determine the action" - Les Daniels commenting on FF 51 in the book Marvel - Five Fabulous Decades of the World's Greatest Comics, 1991, p. 264.

There might be one or two things in the history of comics as good as this issue, but none surpass it. Big congrats!
