Description

Rose O'Neill is best known for her Kewpies, and generally as a "cute" artist, but she also had a darker side. I was lucky to find this sketch of one of what she termed her "sweet monsters" - you can find many more examples online. She really was a fantastic artist, though few people know this side of her work.
