DescriptionThe Smurfs : Jokey Smurf Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1981-89). The Smurfs, despite its use of cookie-cutter character design, somehow never confused anyone about the identities of smurfs. With distinct outfits and body language that distinguished smurfs from their fellow villagers, the smurfs could be easily recognizable. In addition, their names did a lot of heavy lifting. Featured here is Jokey Smurf, a name that leave nothing to the imagination, in a absolutely fantastic hand-painted original production cel . Jokey, notorious for handing presents containing explosives to fellow smurfs, measures 3.5" x 5.25". The cel show minor handling wear and are taped to printed backgrounds for presentation purposes.
