DescriptionA CHRISTMAS CAROL: The Spirit of Christmas Present"A original painting created by Carol Heyer for the illustrated version of the classic Dickens Christmas story as retold by Pamela Kennedy, published by Ideals, 1995. The Spirit of Christmas Present is captured perfectly here in all his "glory"....appearing to Scrooge as described by Dickens, as "a jolly giant" with dark brown curls, fur-lined green robe and wearing a holly wreath on his head a holly wreath. Scrooge looks on impressed by the great feast that accompanies Christmas Present. One of Carol's most colorful and detailed interiors for the book, a beauty in acrylics on unstretched canvas, approx 20" x 15" and signed by the artist. Social/Sharing |
