Batman: The Last Knight on Earth #3 Pg 1

There are a few classic settings within Batman stories that I always enjoy seeing, and I already have one of them in my collection from Capullo & Glapion and that is Bruce in the cave with Alfred (posted in my gallery). The other that I love is Batman & Jim Gordon on the roof of GCPD. I have said it before but I’ll say it again here. Back in 2011 I had been out of reading new comics monthly but one thing brought me back and it was Greg Capullo on Batman. I am thrilled I came back for his now generational defining run written by Scott Snyder. I already had one page featuring younger Bruce & Lt Gordon from Zero Year, so having a page from Snyder’s Origin story and one from his send off for the character, I thought that would be a great way to represent the relationship featured in the 10 year run on Batman within my collection. I really enjoy the character of Jim Gordon but I absolutely love Capullo’s Jim Gordon. I am so thrilled to now have this in my possession. Capullo is a modern master, and I am incredibly fortunate to have been able to add this one to the collection!
