Description

Scott McDaniel makes his second entry into the Common Elements gallery with the triumvirate of Firestorm (the female version from Future's End, Madison Payne), Black Lightning (Jefferson Pierce), and the Winter Soldier (James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes). I'm a huge fan of Scott's work -- perhaps no other artist in the business today makes more effective use of bold lines and powerfully placed blacks.

Here's how Scott describes this scenario: "Compositionally, this is a hero reveal shot, using a low camera angle to look up at our heroes manifesting their unique abilities and talents. The chosen location atop the Capitol Building dome serves as a subtle clue to the viewer to lead them to the secret."
