Complete art for "Spook Squadron" story in which the Jackrabbit Squadron of F-86 Sabre jets engage Soviet MIGs, shooting down the MIG jet of the pilot Radoff, seemingly killing him. The squadron later hears a radio broadcast from Soviet radio propagandist Moscow Molly, who announces that Radoff has returned from the grave, thirsting for vengeance. Sure enough, a ghostly MIG later appears and is eventually shot down, revealing the "ghost" to in fact be a phosphorescent white-painted MIG w/a special smoke generator, piloted by one of Radoff's students. Two panels feature great image of skeletal Death appearing before pilots in the clouds. First page has stamped area at bottom for artist, inker, letterer, etc. which has been filled in w/pencil. Top of first three pages has stamped "Silver Printed" notation. Artboards have some scattered aging/dust soiling to margins, but art remains clean and Exc. Dan Makara Collection.
