DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR THE LINK IN OUR FEBRUARY 2021 AUCTION!11-1/8x17.25" Marvel artboard has pen and ink original art for page 6 of Spider-Man Vol. 1 #87, published by Marvel Jan. 1998. Art is by John Romita Jr., noted for his work on various Spider-Man titles, Thor, Action Comics and other titles. Art has been inked by Scott Hanna. Page features four panels, w/first being splash panel showing Mary Jane Watson attending to the wounds of the immense crimelord Giacomo Fortunato, aka Jimmy 6 as MJ's aunt Anna May Watson and Jill Stacy watch from couch. MJ picks up phone to call an ambulance as Jimmy is bleeding profusely from a gunshot wound, but Jimmy pushes the phone down back into its cradle as MJ looks at the gun in his hand in last panel. MJ appears in three of the four panels. Top margin has inked "PP/Spider-Man" title abbreviation w/issue/page numbers. Back has been signed in black ink by Hanna. Some minor corner tip wear but art is clean and Exc. Social/Sharing |
