Description

This cartoon was left out from Kari's annual book "T�ysk�si", so it is now the first time published since it was at Helsingin Sanomat in 26.5.1974.

Politisoituva YLE = politicized Finnish Broadcasting Company (known as YLE)

Local ministers and politicians was placed into popular TV series:

Elefanttipoika = Elephant Boy (based on Rudyard Kipling's Toomai of the Elephants)
Lib. = Liberal People's Party
Pekka Tarjanne

It looks this was some local format, maybe about farmworks...
Gents there: Aarne Saarinen, Ele Alenius & Taisto Sinisalo
All gents were left wing politics arguing with each others decades, Ele Alenius also against Kremlin, especially after 1968 when Soviet troops invaded Czechoslovakia.

"Walt Disneyn maailma" refers now into 26.12.1973 broadcasted "50 Happy Years" TV show, it was an episode of�The Wonderful World of Disney.
Its Synopsis: This show chronicles the achievements and legacy of Walt Disney and the company he founded, from its humble beginnings with�Steamboat Willie�to the opening of�Walt Disney World. The show includes a look at the many memorable songs from memorable Disney features, the wonders of nature from the�True-Life Adventures, tear-jerking moments, and even a sneak peek at the still-in-production animated film�Robin Hood.
Kalevi Sorsa now as Donald Duck (sorsa = duck in Finnish, yes, that was his family name), he was long-time leader of the�Social Democratic Party of Finland and the Prime Minister then in 1974.
And the Nephews following him are: Matti Louekoski, Jermu Laine and Ulf Sundqvist (all key ministers from Sorsa's 1st Cabinet)

Centre Party of Finland, earlier known as the Agrarian League
Ahti Karjalainen riding a donkey, he was seen by many as President Kekkonen's crown prince
Johannes Virolainen riding cow, was considered one of the strongest Centre Party leaders in the post-war era, second only to president Kekkonen.

Needing to remember that in 1974 in Finland was only 2 TV channels. However YLE allocated some broadcasting time for commercial MTV3 also.
