For years I felt like this one was done by a well known artist whose name was escaping me, and I still do, but I was too busy putting together too many other checklists and never had the time to dig into it. Nice one though!

Yup, Belarski has always been the one guy it looked like to me, the background characters in particular. This one has been tricky because it appears as if it's Belarski doing Belarski on all the backgrounds, but then trying to throw us off the scent by using something like a George Gross approach on the two foreground characters.

Yeah, background gang is what feels really Belarski to me. Something about the colors as well. When I worked at IH I saw a lot of these digest covers in the flesh and this one just felt Belarski to me for quite some time. I should hold up a black light on it it see if there's a signature that got painted over.
