Description

First arrival of the year! And what a great one to start 2021 off with! Love the onomatopoeia and the storytelling here. It really sets the piece apart from a regular one character commission. This is more like a one page story. And of course with a fun easter egg, which we both wanted! Size is 9x12. Piece is done in pencils, inks and some grey tones.

Back in 2019, Justin Mason was my discovery of the year. So when he opened up his limited list of commissions in late 2020, we quickly started talking again. While Justin was eager to do another Star Wars piece (see my other commission done by Justin), we went for that other big love of both of our lives: the Amazing Spider-Man.

In 2019, Spidey was on the shortlist, as well, and seeing his recent noodle short story on Instagram only drove that wish more and more. So happy this happened!

Someone to keep your eye out for in the coming month and years! Oh, and this piece was his second most liked piece of 2020, on social media. Great to see that it was appreciated by other fans, as well.
