DescriptionDid you know Norm Breyfogle also worked on Batman for Marvel? Well, that is pretty much the case with this issue of Marc Spector: Moon Knight. This Multiverse issue features a story where Moon Knight from our universe encounters at least 7 different versions of Moon Knights from other universes and pretty much all of them are Batman inspired characters. This particular sequence is inspired by Batman: Holy Terror which is an Elseworlds story that Breyfogle worked on for DC. It combines the Holy Terror Batman with a direct rip-off of Man-Bat. From the Marvel Fandom database: "This story includes characters inspired by THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS, BATMAN & DRACULA: RED RAIN, BATMAN: HOLY TERROR, THE SPIRIT, SPACE GHOST, and the 1950s BATMAN." Pretty much this entire bizarre issue is a blatant rip-off of various Batman stories and versions of Batman. Not only did Norm Breyfogle provide a few pages of the story, but so did Kelley Jones and other bat artists. Marc Spector: Moon Knight Vol 1 #42 "Multiverse Madness" - released September 1992 Social/Sharing |

So dynamic! Love the kind of layered panel layout with all of the action and sound effect lettering. Kinetic and kind of frantic but in a great way! Big congrats on this!

Agreed. This page is borderline chaotic, but I still love it. Plus, I guess that's to be expected from an early '90s story with the word "madness" in the title from an issue touted as the "most bizarre issue yet." Love me some Breyfogle action!
