DescriptionCan't go wrong with an Amazing Spider-Man by Mark Bagley! I've already talked a lot about Mark Bagley and what he meant for me in my first commission post. Back then, when ordering in the summer of 2020, I was debating getting this kind of piece. Although, I'm still extremely happy with that personal first piece - quite a story. In the end, the stars aligned and Mark had some time to do another piece for me near the end of 2020. This morning, this beauty arrived. A full figure with a detailed city landscape to go along with. Of course, we recognize a scene that Mark has done multiple times in his decades on Spidey titles at Marvel: Spider-Man swinging in New York City. This specific commission accentuates a lean, flexible and younger Peter Parker, quite similar to his Ultimate work. Size is 11x17. Update of 24/08/2021: This morning the inked version arrived. As with my other Mark Bagley commission, I asked Mark to do the inks on this one. Once again, it's blueline inked over a copy of the original pencils. Love how much more of the background is now instantly recognizable. Social/Sharing |

Coming from the prime Bagley commission collector, that means a lot! Thanks, Eric!

Looking forward to improving that even further with getting a copy inked by someone soon! Might be Scott Hanna!

Classic swingin' Spidey and I like how detailed he went on the background, too. Great stuff, Killian. Congrats!

Thanks Kahlil! That was actually an explicit request, although Mark is known for not being that much into such elaborate background. But I decided to throw the dice and thought it was worth a shot!
