Description

16" x 12.75" by Michael Carroll. Original acrylic painting on illustration board. Circa 1991.

Not true "Space Art" but I put it in this gallery since Michael Carroll is an icon and legend in the genre. Not sure if this was ever published or used but it keeps in line with astronomical art master Carroll's sometimes light and humorous subject matter involving aliens or dinosaurs. Here we see aliens excavating a human dig site on Earth. A diversion from his typical scientific-based space themes.

Man, aliens would think we are pigs! I see and really like the subtle humor here. And what wonderful work! I really dig his hinted at takes on alien spacesuits. They're like us (just cleaner)! Great pick up. Congrats!
