Murphy's looking for Laura and the girls are forced on the lam and into disguises!

Anne writes articles in a magazine dedicated to trendy New Yorkers. He spends all his time drinking and doing nothing. He has a quiet life until one day he comes to upset his sister Laura' existence. She's been hunted down by her boyfriend and she's the queen of Saturn's Astrogirls. Baker creates an unusual work, a kind of comic book sitcom to give voice to his sense of humor; the dialogue is as sharp as that of a movie and flies fast in a barrage of stinging jokes. The clouds of text are almost completely absent, the images, however rendered with strong dynamism, are arranged above the dialogues in a way reminiscent of the comics of the origins, but the general awareness of the work is contemporary. This contrast imbues the story with a deep sense of irony that accentuates the alienation of the main characters.

Anne scrive articoli su una rivista dedicata ai newyorkesi alla moda. Passa tutto il suo tempo a bere ed a non fare niente. Ha una vita tranquilla finche� un giorno arriva a sconvolgere la sua esistenza la sorella Laura. Ella hanno provato ad assassinarla, e� braccata dal suo fidanzato ed e� la regina delle Astrogirl di Saturno. Baker crea una opera insolita, una specie di sit-com a fumettii n cui dare voce al suo senso dell�umorismo; il dialogo e� affilato come quello di un film e vola veloce in una raffica di battute pungenti. Le nuvolette di testo sono quasi completamente assenti, le immagini, per quanto rese con forte dinamismo, sono disposte al di sopra dei dialoghi in un modo che ricorda i fumetti delle origini, ma la sensibilita� generale dell�opera e� contemporanea. Questo contrasto impregna la storia di un profondo senso di ironia che accentua la alienazione dei personaggi principali.
