DescriptionA stunning full-page splash of a monstrous, hulked-out Silver Surfer, having been tricked by Thanos into absorbing so much energy that he would turn himself into a living bomb! This was an Infinity Crusade crossover issue, and this page features not just an amazing straight-on image of the Surfer on his board hurtling through space coming right out at you, but in his huge form he actually takes up most of the width of the page from side to side! The Surfer image is essentially a full page splash, with 2 inset panels at the top and bottom (these are drawn directly on the page, they are not separate panels). The artwork is really incredible, as the stars look to be done with meticulous drops of either whiteout or white paint, and the details and sheer power of the page really are amazing. A truly classic and memorable Silver Surfer with Thanos page!Social/Sharing |
