Description

So excited to finally get a 1st appearance page of the one and only mini-tormentor and Wolvie side-kick, Elsie-Dee.

She first came into my world, when I saw her featured in the 1994 Sega Genesis video game WOLVERINE: ADAMANTIUM RAGE. She was such an odd character that stood out, a cute little girl who is actually a deadly time-bomb robot set to kill one of the roughest toughest characters out there, Wolverine.

In the comics, she becomes more sentient and tries to break her programming, in order to not kill the target she was set out to destroy, after he risks his life to properly save her from a trap she set. She and Wolverine form a father daughter bond (which is a common theme for him, ie Jubilee and Kitty Pryde, before her) and it's a start of a very odd and beautiful friendship in the X-MEN universe.

She appears in the bottom right with a huge closeup on her "wittle" face. Silvestri hits it out the of park with his great art and Dan Green's outstanding inking for Larry Hama's fantastic start to Elsie-Dee's origin story. She melted my heart like she did for rough and tough Wolverine, so I feel like I am in good company.
