My first cover to post on this site, yay! And what a beautiful piece of David Marquez Rogue art at that.

Thank you K Gearon for allowing me to purchase this wonderful art piece from you. You saw my enthusiasm for the character Rogue and hopefully understood that it went to a good new home with me. Rogue was the first X-Men character that peaked my interest, when I learned about her and all her crazy cool powers in the X-Men: The Animated Series companion book.

David Marquez has a way with his character art and draws such beautiful women (and men). I am excited to have this be my first piece of his great work and look forward to it expanding.

This particular art piece was used for not just 1 cover, but for three. The image was used in the Marvel Young Guns class of 2014 artists. It was also used for two of the AVENGERS AND X-MEN: AXIS series (#1 for partial cover and #4 as a variant cover of Rogue), high-lighting David Marquez's art as part of the Marvel Young Guns.

You're more than welcome, bud - I know it's got a good home! Definitely worthy of being your first cover. Great shot of Rogue here, particularly that face - gorgeous. Marquez really does some of the best female faces in the biz. Just a perfect blend of real with the more traditional animated comic book look. And I forgot this was actually used for 3 covers! I remember the 2 but glad you got it all covered here :) Big congrats, man!

Dave Marquez is an amazing artist, and I love his rendition of Rogue here. Such a beautiful face.
