Richard Friend explained to me that this is a blueline inked actual published cover because when John Romita Jr. sent the original pencils, it disappeared in the mail !

Oh no, the pencils were lost in the mail?!? That's a shame, but at least they had some kind of digital copy that Richard was able to ink over, so this gorgeous cover could be created. Love this image!

Drop dead gorgeous cover! That slime creature is ickly and gooey and everything nasty and Wonder Woman looks cool and clam and totally up to taking it--And Batman--down.
