Death Metal Secret Origins pg 7 Jerry Ordway Superboy Crisis Monitor!!!

Super excited to have gotten lucky enough to have landed this page!
Huge Jerry Ordway fan, and glad to finally own a piece that he both penciled, and inked.

Love all of the characters on this page! Huge flashback scenes from Crisis on Infinite Earths and Infinite Crisis involving Superboy Prime.
The first and third panels are related to DC Comics Presents #87, which was a Crisis on Infinite Earths tie-in, and first appearance of Superboy Prime.
The second panel is a Crisis on Infinite Earths scene, with tons of heroes fighting the Anti-Monitor (Earth 1 and 2 Supermen, Superboy, Captain Atom, Power Girl, Jade, Ray, Firestorm, Martian Manhunter and Fury to name a few)
The last two panels are scenes from Infinite Crisis with Superboy Prime fighting the Titans, as well as Stargirl and Wildcat!

Potential Comic Spoilers: I actually really liked this comic. It is a story of redemption for Superboy Prime, in the midst of the Death Metal fight with Perpetua and the Batman Who Laughs. I am a big fan of redemption stories, and never understood how the Superboy from COIE could have ever as gone as dark as he did in Infinite Crisis, Sinestro War, and subsequent books.The only problem, is he went so dark, it is hard to imagine him coming back and now being on the side of the Angels. BUT, I'm all about a good redemption story, so I'm going with it (if they even keep this turn of events).
